Subject: perhaps another way of descibing the weariness of nothing
Jul 27 2012 07:36 AM

There seems to be as much lack of transparency from the US as there is from China. "WOuld not elaborate on China's response." Ten years we listened to the envoys returning from "constructive and meaningful dialogue" only to have them resign in disgust at the lack of those sentiments. In the meantime China is not only tightening its grip in Tibet, Hong Kong, China itself, but also establishing itself with a military garrison in the South China Sea, which it claims to own. Again only words of protest from Vietnam, Philippines etc. A new 400 million injection into many parts of Africa, and so it marches on. One can only hope that the old saying"Give them enough rope, and they"ll hang themselves" might be behind this shocking complacency.
